"Change, when it comes, cracks everything open." ~ Dorothy Allison
If you stop and think about it, life moves in cycles. There are seasons to pretty much everything. Sometimes they are predictable in their shifts, like the seasons or waves coming to shore or the migration of geese but usually the biggest shifts happen when we least expect it, even - or maybe especially - when we know they are going to happen.
For example, you know that endings, which might be the death of a situation, circumstance, or relationship, are essential for a number of reasons. The reasons you give those endings might range from "it's run its course" to "it's time for change" to "there is a bigger picture here", or a myriad of other substantiations for the ending that is occurring. And while all are some sort of rationale for the experience, each of them gives a sense that there is something new coming in...a new beginning of some sort. It is only through the ending of what was that the new can come into being; however, knowing that doesn't always make the transition any easier.
What may people may not realize is that the change that is occurring through the endings and beginnings in the physical world is actually a reflection of their own inner state. That is, change that occurs within has no other consequence than to express in an outer form, in a physical representation of what occurred inside that person.
Consider how that has shown up for you in your life...maybe you were waiting to hear from someone who owed you money but it was only when you stopped thinking about that with anger that the check showed up in the mail. Maybe you had a misunderstanding with a family member and it was when you felt the forgiveness in your heart that the phone rang with their call. Maybe things didn't flow in your world how you wanted them to and you channeled the frustration energy into cleaning your office and suddenly the world started working with you for a change...
All of these examples represent that your inner experience impacts your outer world. You didn't do anything different on the outside to create a new result - it was your inner relationship with awareness that made the new situation possible in the outer world. And for a soul-driven entrepreneur, knowing that can make all the difference in the degree of success you enjoy with and through your business.
Three Things You Can Do Today:
1. Everything counts. And nothing is the same when you understand that concept. Another way I've heard it is "how do you do anything is how you do everything" - wow. Talk about being accountable...the universe is noticing who you're being when nobody is looking and THAT is the foundation that you are creating from in your business. We soul-driven types have taken on the higher vibration path of distilling who we are and the innate gifts we have in service to the world - no small charge - and that gives everything we do a little extra "ka-pow" factor in every way. There is just no escaping that...(hmmm...some "ka-pow karma" anyone???) :+)
2. You are responsible for your creations. You are the only one inside you, as an expression of universal energy on the physical level; you are the only one who CAN be responsible for what you're creating. In The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery, there is a memorable passage: 'Men have forgotten this truth,' said the fox. 'But you must not forget it. You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed.' And it is only by 'owning' what you have already created that you give yourself the power to create something new going forward.
3. Bigger physical results require even bigger inner changes. By asking for or wanting bigger results in the physical world, you are asking your spirit to bring you the inner experiences necessary to achieve that. The old adage 'be careful what you ask for' is something to consider, because you are setting yourself up to clear out whatever is in the way energetically to have what you want.
Remember that the biggest changes can only occur from the inside out...so when it's time to create something new, go to where it really matters to make it happen.

Different people have different definitions of success. To the general working class, success could be getting that car, getting that dream house or getting a certain sum of money.
To salesman, success could be having more customers, earning more commissions or getting more sales.
How about you? What is your definition of success?
I've not spoken or seen you before so I can't tell what success really is to you. But 80% of the time, most people would relate their level of success to achieving a certain financial goal.
Sounds boring, doesn't it?
How about let's see 'success' in a totally different point of view? Feel what impact it would have in your life if you were to perceive success this way.
"Success is having fun while accomplishing something worthwhile."
Doesn't it make sense? When I first saw 'success' in this light, it made my brain go, "Wow..." Now, did it have the same impact on you?
You see. Many people in life go around achieving this goal and that goal. And after achieving these goals, they realized, to their surprise, that the achievement did not make them feel happy at all. Experienced this before?
Let me give you a good example.
Did do you think Richard Branson felt when he sold his Virgin records for a billion dollars.
Make a guess. Did he feel happy? Elated? Ecstatic?
Well, the exact opposite is the truth.
He felt so sad he was crying as he held the billion dollars? Why? Because he sold a business that brought him fun doing it.
I once heard an internet marketing guru said this, "You must have fun before you can have fund."
I heard before many working professionals who said, "I would do things I like once I get enough money to retire." And usually, they end up feeling tired, unhappy and grouchy. Why? Simply because they would never get the kind of money they think is 'enough'.
So they end up doing work they don't like for the rest of their life, feeling unsuccessful.
I'm about to throw a challenge at you right now. Are you ready?
Challenge yourself to do what you love and get paid for it. If you love writing, start writing and charging people for a fee. If you love singing, start recording mp3s or teach other people how to sing, and get paid for it.
The only way to success is to first understand what's fun to you, and doing it for the rest of your life and getting paid for it.
Are you up to the challenge?

Learn the Secrets of Success
Excelling under pressure is one of life's most difficult challenges. The reason is that so much of doing your best in any particular situation relates to your mental attitude at the very moment that particular situation arises. In other words, in a pressure situation, if you honestly think you can, you probably can and if you truly do not think you can, you probably won't. The other factors are preparation, ability and just knowing the enemy or the competition.
#1 - Mental attitude - We tend to perform at our best when we are calm, relaxed and excited and driven by strong belief. The problem with pressure situations is that they are apt to produce the opposite tendencies in our minds and hearts. We become negatively excited, stressed and doubtful - neurological impulses which tend to undermine our skills and abilities. Thus, the secret is a form of self-hypnosis which allows you to block these undermining impulses at the key moment in the pressure situation. You can only block negative, stressful or undermining thoughts by replacing them with their opposite. You must have a hypnotic phrase which you employ in pressure situations. That phrase can be something like "I can do this," I am prepared," or "I will overcome." One of the above phrases (or another similar to them) is to be mentally repeated throughout the pressure situation in order to block undermining thoughts from emerging.
#2 - Preparation - Pressure situations can be predicted and prepared for. Football teams do it all the time. That's right, think about possible pressure situations which may confront you and practice how you would overcome them. Think about what you would do and how you would do it if a particular pressure situation was to arise. The military refers to this as having contingency plans.
#3 - Ability - Ability comes from experience or stated another way practice, practice, practice. Be good at what your do. Master your craft. In a world were most people do just enough to get by, mastering your craft will make you superior - among the top five percent of the population.
#4 - Know the enemy (competition or opposing factors) - There are few things better in life than knowing and having prepared for the enemy, the competition or the forces which will be opposing you. The words of the ancient Chinese military philosopher Sun Tzu are appropriate here. He said over 2000 years ago: "Most men get into a fight and try to figure the best way to win; but the wise man first figures the best way to win and then gets into the fight."
You can best prepare for pressure situations by first mastering your craft and then being knowledgeable of the abilities of the forces which will be opposing you. Those opposing forces will not just be the immediate competition but also inertia - old ways of doing things - biases and those who plan to be unfair and those who benefit from the current situation even if that situation is harmful to you and most others.
You must be aware all these forces, prepare for them, stay hard driven by belief or desire and you will perform well in any pressure situation.
